Ms Lee Qi En – Oral Health Therapist
Dip Dental Hygiene and Therapy (Singapore)
Qi En graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She is dual-qualified as a Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She is also a member of the Association of Oral Health Therapy.
Qi En was attached to the Health Promotion Board during her training treating both children and adolescent. Upon graduation, she spent several years in the private sector before joining Le MinT’S.
As an Oral Health Therapist, she is enthusiastic in giving dental education including smoking cession, dietary advice and teaching customised oral health instructions to prevent gum disease and tooth decay. She works closely with the Dentists and specialists in providing patients with options to achieving better oral health.
Ms Lee is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Counselling. In Le MinT’S, she runs the quit smoking programme and customised programmes for young kids and teenagers to monitor and improve their oral health.
Apart from oral hygiene, diet plays a role in reducing decay. Starting from a young age, it is important to cultivate good habits. Through a dietary programme, this help patients track their food intake to assess the cause of decay. She believes prevention is better than cure.
